The word asana literally means a posture. Out of the innumerable asanas a body can assume, 84 have been identified as Yogasanas, through which one can transform the body and mind into a possibility for ultimate well-being. By consciously forming the body into a certain posture, one creates a conducive passage for energy flow that can elevate one’s consciousness.
Yogasanas are a way of aligning the inner system and adjusting it to the celestial geometry, becoming in sync with the existence, thus naturally achieving a state of health, joy, bliss and above all balance.
Surya Kriya Practice Review For Challenge Winners

It is essential to do yoga practice in alignment to get maximum benefits, to enhance and balance energy levels. Your practice will be corrected after detailed evaluation of postures by a highly trained Hatha Yoga Teacher and will be discussed with you. It is better to get the practices reviewed after few days or months of practice so that you are aware of any distortions that you might have made while practicing on your own.
Prequisite:
- You must have learnt the practice before getting it reviewed.
- Empty Stomach Requirement i.e. meals should be consumed 4 hours before class, snacks can be consumed 2.5 hours before class and beverages can be consumed at least 1.5 hours before class
- You must have participated and completed the 40-Day Mandala Challenge to win this
Individual Practice Correction For Challenge Winners

Yoga For Health (Advanced)
Directional Movements and Shambhavi Mudra for energy and perception.
Bhastrika Kriya
Bhastrika Kriya is a powerful kriya, which purifies the blood and increases lung capacity. It can be of assistance to people with asthma, allergy, sinusitis, hormonal imbalance and skin disease.
Pre-requisite: Empty stomach conditions required. You must have learnt one of the Hatha Yoga practices like Surya Kriya, Surya Shakti, Surya Namaskar, Angamardana or Yogasanas. Not for those who have learned only Upa-Yoga.
Caution: Those with vertigo should not practice Bhastrika Kriya.
